Thank you to all the wonderful people who came to support us at the Taste Of The Tour pavilion, right by the 18th tee at the picturesque Nashawtuc Country Club. Hosted by my good friends, husband and wife team Chris Spinazzola and Marjorie Clapprood, the Taste of the Tour is designed to generate awareness and stock the pantry at the Boston Medical Center’s Grow Clinic, which provides comprehensive medical, nutritional, social services and dietary assistance to children diagnosed with significant growth problems.
We had fun with watermelon, making 5 dishes all using watermelon including dishes like "Escolar Sashimi w/ Wateremlon Air and Corriander" & "Seared Watermelon Steak, Cranberry Honey, Dried Cranberries, Feta Cheese and Olive Oil Powder" , we gave people a taste of whats to come at Tastings Wine Bar and Bistro later this summer.
The Taste of the Tour Pavilion also included other offerings from Chef Ming Tsai of Blue Ginger, Todd Englishs' Olives with Chef Joe Brenner,and Rachel Klein from Aura. With every ones support we raised over $50,000 for the Grow clinic, and we had a blast doing it. Thanks again!

Un beso y un abrazo de tu tío Juan Manuel. Vi el blog de las nenas y están preciosas. Tu papá nos mantiene informados de tus cosas porque está muy orgulloso de tí. Yo también estoy orgulloso de vos y mis hijos siempre hablan de su primo el chef más cabrón. Tu viejo está muy bien gracias a Dios y está recuperando fuerzas...nos dió un susto estos meses de te imaginas. Si lo hubieras visto te cagas. Ahora ya está bien de nuevo.
